Men's Retro Aloha Shirt Collection - Made in Hawaii since 1964

We search the world for hand painted art that inspires. The art is screened in long lasting, stay true color on our exclusive 100% Spun Crushed Rayon. The fabric keeps you cool and just feels good.  

Dave Rochlen, our founder, developed a love for traveling to curate textiles and art for the business. In the early 90’s Dave developed an exclusive crushed rayon in Japan, and JAMS World was created. This was the beginning into a new fashion category, Resort Wear. 

The Men’s Retro Shirt is designed as a box-cut, relaxed fit that accentuates the free-flowing rayon fabric.  Our limited-edition collections are cut and sewn in our Honolulu factory. Each print has coordinating hand-painted buttons created just for us by a California artist. 

We also feature what is called our “Engineered Print” on selected prints. The engineered prints are designed to strategically place certain design aspects of a print on specific part of the shirt.  Some recent examples of this would be our Men’s “No Ka Oi” and “Aloha.”
